Movie Production Returns to Clayton, GA
(Indian Land, SC – October 28, 2019) -
Imagicomm Entertainment has announced Clayton, Georgia as the shoot location for a new film project entitled “
Blue Ridge”, which will be distributed in 2020
. Jonathan Collins, VP of Digital Media Distribution for Imagicomm Entertainment, made the announcement.
“
Blue Ridge marks Imagicomm Entertainment’s tenth film offering, and will initially be released through new media streaming services,” said Collins. “And, while the crime drama script represents a new genre for Imagicomm, it is certainly not the first motion picture distributed by Imagicomm Entertainment that was filmed in Clayton, Georgia. Imagicomm Entertainment also distributes
Christmas on the Range, which was filmed in Clayton in 2019 and currently available on Vudu.”
Gary Wheeler directed and produced
Christmas on the Range, and will serve as producer on
Blue Ridge. “Clayton’s picturesque vistas and warm townspeople made the decision to return a no-brainer,” noted Wheeler. “The crew can’t wait to reconnect with old friends when we arrive on set in a few days!”
Filming for Blue Ridge is scheduled to begin on November 7
th, and according to producers from Sydney Productions, Inc., casting is almost complete. Collins added, “Imagicomm will have staff on location to start assembling the marketing materials and information necessary to distribute this exciting project.”
Local residents can be a part of
Blue Ridge! Extras of all ages are being cast now (families and individuals are encouraged to apply). Especially needed are 300 extras for a festival scene being filmed on Thursday, November 7
